During the 2009/2010 course, the possibility of installing a system of Web-cams in Nursery classrooms and play areas is being explored (only with the parents' full authorization and agreement). This system would count on the maximum guarantee of security and privacy, with user IDs controlled, being only supplied to parents of children in those levels.
The main aim of these web-cams is to offer parents the possibility of seeing their children in the classrooms and to bring them nearer to their activities and learning processes. It is an application that serves to bring parents and children closer, especially at ages where it is particularly difficult to separate oneself from one's children.
Novaschool Añoreta, within its practices of openness, communication, and safety, as well as the intensive use of technology that it is developing, presents this service to parents and will of course be followed through only if there is a consensus.
