Complementary activities
Inclusion of field trips as an integral part of schooling, to allow knowing the environment both near and abroad: Universidad de Malaga, Coca-Cola, Picasso Museum, Principia Center, the Alhambra, Natural Park of Cazorla, Madrid, Barcelona, Germany, Greece, USA, Latvia, England, Ireland and Canada.
Participation in the project "Comenius" what make part of the Independent Body “European Educational Programs” (OAPEE) which has a mission to manage the Spanish participation in the Lifelong Learning Program (PAP). Comenius Project aims to strengthen the European dimension in the field of child education, primary and secondary schools, promoting mobility and cooperation between educational centers.
Promoting reading and oral and written comprehension, through a program of promotional activities for reading, “Count with the stories”, reading workshop, visits to the library or book week.
Empower between students those attitudes and habits that enable an equitable social development, an environmental conservation and a correct and positive personal development. For this, the School has the Añoreta 'Garden and Gardening Workshop' which aims to sensitize the students with their environment. Activities are conducted as the Constitution Day, the day of the fruit, school visits to the farm and the zoo, the peace day and the day of Andalucía; visits to the theater, the Contemporary Arts Center and music school.
To help the students complete each stage with good work habits. In the Annual Plan Center the objectives are marked of each level of education. In each of the subjects are taught and applied techniques designed for the general and the actual level of matter. In addition to these actions, students are taught about proper habits in class, as take notes, pay attention, good behavior, and proper use of the agenda as so as the drafting of diagrams and other related behaviors.
Promote teamwork. It is a teaching tool with many educational possibilities; in this case by the collaboration of human relations, the respect for the views of other colleagues, friendships which are created, and so on. A level of teaching staff is a prerequisite for the effectiveness of teaching and educational work, but on the other hand, educational departments and working groups also provide more intensive human relations and quality of benefit to its members and the Center environment.
In addition, other activities are regularly organized:
- Celebration of several mini Olympic-games, with great acceptance by students.
- Course of Fisheries and Responsible Trade, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, for students from the 6th grade.
- Celebration during two weeks of practical Driver Education, organized by the City of Rincon de la Victoria and the General Traffic Department.
- Promotion for reading, organized by the editorial SAN PABLO.
- Sex Education for students from Secondary.
