Objectives

• Know and understand the basics of the functioning of the own body and the impact they have in various events and with personal decisions, both on individual health as well as on the collective.
• Form a clear idea of itself, its characteristics and possibilities, and act independently evaluating the effort and overcoming difficulties.
• Interact to others in a participatory and integrated way into the group joining activities with supportive and tolerant attitudes, free from inhibitions and prejudices.
• Analyze the mechanisms and values that govern the functioning of societies, especially those concerning to the rights and duties of citizens.
• Analyze the basic mechanisms which are governing the operation of the physical and natural environment, evaluate the impact it has on human activities and contribute actively to the protection, preservation and improvement of the same as a determinant of quality of life.
• Understand and appreciate the natural, cultural and historical patrimony of Andalucía and analyze the elements and the basic features of the same as well as their insertion in the diversity of the State Communities.
• Know and value the scientific and technological development, their applications and impact on the physical, natural and social.
• Know and value the cultural heritage and contribute actively to the conservation and improvement, understand the cultural and linguistic diversity as a right of peoples and individuals, and develop a caring attitude and respect for the exercise of this right.
• Understand and produce oral and written messages in Castilian, taking into account the peculiarities of speech of Andalucía, with ownership, autonomy and creativity, using them to communicate and organize the thought.
• Understand and express oral and written messages contextualized in a foreign language.
• Interpret and produce with ownership, autonomy and creativity the artistic, scientists and technique codes.
• Develop strategies for identifying and solving problems in various fields of knowledge and experience, contrasting and reflecting on the followed process.
• Obtain and select information, treat it independently and critically and transmit it to others in an organized and intelligible way.
• Know the beliefs, attitudes and core values of our tradition and cultural heritage, assessing them critically and choose those options that best promote their overall development as a person.
