Educational Project

Bilingualism

Knowledge of spanish and english languages. From 3 years old begin classes in English, to reach 50% of primary classes in this language, remaining at the ESO and Baccalaureate/High School. The qualification of teachers and the important material and methodological resources at our disposal allow us to develop this objective.

Third Language

German as a third language after 10 years (5th Primary). The need for our students face the challenge of future employment and personnel, as well as the importance of learning about other cultures and languages for their development as individuals, support this pillar of our project.

Physical Education

The psychomotor, physical activity and sport are key elements in the education of our youth. At the core feature of psychomotor classroom, workshops and a major sports club where they develop and foster these skills from kinder garden through high school. Besides the beneficial effects on physical and mental health of any person, Physical Education, Añoreta School promotes healthy eating habits, hygiene and fun for our young people face life differently.

New Technologies

Learn to handle the new technologies properly is a fundamental skill in our society and for the future of our students. Arises from two perspectives: new technologies as a way (support and development of different areas: mathematics, knowledge of the environment, natural sciences, etc) and new technologies as an end (learning the most important tools: Processors text, spreadsheet, database manager, design programs).

New Technologies and particularly computer technology has a very specific status in the various areas of knowledge. Our very modern computer labs, the large number of educational software available and our faculty will achieve this goal for the present and future development of our students.

High academic standards

Today's society based on knowledge requires that we help students from child to their academic level to become the highest possible. Examples of this objective: the development of literacy for kids, the development of reading comprehension and spelling in primary, the vast use of laboratories and workshops in secondary and developing the use of the tools of the Information Society in high school.

Individualized attention

A psycho cabinet meet the needs of students, types of support tailored to the needs of these and a large mentoring system and contrasted are part of this pillar. Ultimately, our interest is to serve all students, both those with a higher level and those who do not meet minimum targets. At this point it is essential to communicate with parents through the Agenda and the aforementioned tutorial system.

Cross-cutting

In all our activities are present health education (hygiene, eating habits, etc), education for peace, co-education (non-discrimination: multinational and multicultural coexistence) and environmental education. Objectives are addressed from all areas of knowledge and, more specifically, through activities and school field trips (excursions to nature, science related with human activities, with the environment, etc.)
